About

CartCited Editorial Team

CartCited is an independent review and media site about tools and ideas for small online stores. The byline on our articles is the CartCited Editorial Team.

Mission

We write for people who run small online stores in the United States and want a price, a limit, and a source they can open. The five sections are AI search visibility, Shopify and ecommerce apps, online business ideas, building an affiliate site, and SEO basics. A YouTube channel under the handle @cartcited is planned. It has not been created, so this page does not link to it.

How we research and compare tools

A comparison starts from the vendor's own pricing page, help center, or app listing. We record the date we opened it. When we calculate a figure, such as cost per prompt, the page shows the formula. We have not hands-on tested the tools on this site. Pages say "research-based, not yet tested" until a logged test exists. The full rules are on the methodology page.

Sourcing and updates

Sources sit at the bottom of each article. We update a page when we re-read the source, and the changelog on that page says what changed. We do not refresh a date just to look current. Site-wide notes are on the changelog. The editorial policy covers corrections and what a vendor is allowed to ask us to change.

How we make money

Some links may be affiliate links. A commission does not decide which tools we include or how we order a table. The details are on the affiliate disclosure. Advertising is not turned on.
